DegreeWorks is a product of Ellucian Company L.P. BearPathway is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ellucian. We do not redistribute, modify, or host DegreeWorks software. This tool simply helps students read and interpret their own exported audit data from CUNYfirst — a standard PDF you can download from your own account.

The information displayed on BearPathway is generated automatically by reading your DegreeWorks PDF using Claude AI (Anthropic). It is provided for reference and planning purposes only and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.

BearPathway is not a substitute for official academic advising. Always verify your degree requirements, course credits, prerequisites, and graduation status directly with your academic advisor and through the official CUNYfirst DegreeWorks system. Course requirements can change, and only official records from Baruch College and CUNYfirst are authoritative.

When you upload your DegreeWorks PDF, your document is sent directly to Anthropic's Claude AI API for parsing. BearPathway does not store, log, or retain your PDF or any academic data on its own servers. Parsed data is stored temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage and is cleared when you close your browser tab.
